To celebrate Earth Day at Brighton Launch, we had a day filled with fun and interactive group activities that honour our planet! Group B kicked off the day with a community clean up, picking up trash in our local area to play our part in keeping our environment clean and beautiful. Next, we headed indoors for some delicious fun, whipping up plant-based earth shaped cookies. These cookies not only tasted great but reminded us of the importance of sustainable habits!
For those with a creative streak, an afternoon spent painting our own earth keepsakes created a beautiful, lasting reminder of our commitment to the planet for the next year. Throughout the day, we shared insights into the history of Earth Day and the important of the three R’s – reduce, reuse, and recycle – in our daily lives.
